As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I work with parents and/or families to develop stronger communication skills and effective conflict resolution skills. My work with children and youth is client-centred and I appreciate and respect diversity.
Alongside my work with parents, I work clinically through evidence-based, youth-centred therapy models when working adolescents ages 12-18. I am passionate, dedicated and work to tailor my therapeutic approach to the unique needs of each child. I bring over 16 years of experience working with a diverse population of children and youth, as well as, experience leading, facilitating projects and initiatives supporting women and at-risk youth within non-profit and government organizations. My approach is warm and collaborative, and when working with caregivers/parents fosters an open and safe space to explore the needs of their children.
